About the Society

The Granby Preservation Society (GPS) was created to preserve, restore, protect and maintain historic structures in the town of Granby. Kellogg Hall is our first priority, as it has served the citizens of Granby, not only as a town hall, but through the generations as a high school, elementary school, library, post office, theater, civil defense facility for the Red Cross, the first American Legion for Veterans and the temporary Catholic Church services locale.  It is the key component of our town's historic village center.

Through various, State and Federal funding grants, along with the hard working dedicated citizens of Granby,  GPS members, generous public funding, our goal is to restore this special and historic part of our community heritage back to a vibrant contributing structure.

We look forward to you helping us accomplish this goal. The town common and the buildings that surround it are a crucial part of our heritage and identity of the Town of Granby.
